Stuffed capsicum
Stuffed capsicum

Ingredients
- Mince ½ kg
- Brown onion ½ cup
- Tomatoes 3 blended
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Oil ½ cup
- Capsicum 6 large round one
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
- Green chilies 3 chopped
Method
- Heat oil fry onion light golden add ginger garlic paste, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, salt, allspice, blended tomatoes, fry well, add mince, cover and cook till mince tender and dry, cut capsicum from top, scoop out the inside, fill the inside with mince, cover with cap, cook on slow fire till capsicum are tender, do not overcook.

POTATO CAPSICUM
INGREDIENTS
- Potatoes-4 cut into cubes
- Capsicum-2 chopped
- Tomatoes (puree form)-2
- Ginger grated-1/2 inch
- Cumin seeds (jeera)-1/4 teaspoon
- Asafoetida (hing)- a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Coriander powder (dhania powder)-1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Oil
- Heat 3-4 tablespoons oil in a pan & add potatoes to it.
- Fry them for a minute or two & then take them out on a paper towel. Keep them aside.
- In the leftover oil, add asafoetida & cumin seeds.
- As they crackle, add grated ginger to it.
- As the ginger turns slightly brown, add tomatoes.
- Mix well & add turmeric powder & coriander powder to it.
- As the mixture leaves oil, add salt, red chilli powder & garam masala powder.
- Mix well & add capsicum to it.
- Fry capsicum in the mixture for 2 minutes & then add fried potatoes to it.
- Cover the pan with a lid till the capsicum & potates turn soft.
- Keep checking in between.
- Once they become soft & well cooked, turn off the flame.
- Potato capsicum is ready to serve.

Fried Chops with Capsicum
Fried Chops with Capsicum

Ingredients
- Chops ½ kg
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Oil ¼ cup
- Black pepper powder 1 tsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- White cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Vinegar 3 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Capsicum 1
- Onion 1
- Green chilies 3 – 4
- Salt to taste
Method
- In a bowl mix together 250 gm yogurt, salt to taste, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp all spice powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 3 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp soya sauce and 2 tbsp oil.Marinate chop with the mixture and keep aside for 10 – 15 minutes.Now put marinated chops in a pan with its marinade. Cook till water dries and chops are tender.In another pan heat a little oil.Add 1 chopped capsicum, 1 chopped onion and 3 – 4 chopped green chilies. Sauté a little.Now add chops and cook for a few seconds.Remove from fire. Dish it out and serve hot.
